Education: B.S. in computer science and 5 - 7 years relevant work experience
Mumps Analyst & Developer - Immediate start date
6 months contract position in Herndon VA.
VA clearance needed.
• Must have 5 - 7 years experience in M (MUMPS) programming . A current VA security clearance is required. along with recent VA Login credentials
• Must have a B.S. in Computer Science or have equivalent work experience
• Must have experience working in a structured environment
• Experience programming in high-volume transaction based environments desired
• Knowledge of Health Level Seven (HL7) messaging protocol a plus
• Knowledge of VA Fileman and other VA software development tools a plus
• Experience with Rational Tools – Clear Quest, Clear Case a plus
• Must have experience interacting with customers to obtain requirements and garner consensus & approval
• Must have experience interacting with analysts, developers and quality assurance team members to provide assistance with requirements and design specifications
• Healthcare IT background a plus
Relocation expenses will not be paid.

Education: BS and 5 - 10 years relevant work experience
Experience: Demonstrated experience in the analysis of the business needs of clinical information systems. Knowledge of HL7 messaging standards for interoperability required.
Experience with Use Case analysis and documentation, data modeling, activity and sequence diagrams, component diagrams, requirements documentation. Knowledge of Unified Modeling Language, Rational Unified Process (RUP), and Advanced MS Visio preferred.
Some travel may be involved. Relocation expenses will not be paid.
